million option for 2012. 3-31-11: Eric was 8-50 (.211) with 3 runs, 2 doubles, 1 homerun and 8 RBI in 19 spring training games. 12-2-10: Eric re-signed with Atlanta for $1.45 million. 10-10-10: Eric joined Kirk Gibson (1988 WS) and Ed Sprague (1992 WS) as the only players to hit a postseason pinch-hit home run that turned a deficit into a lead in the eighth inning or later. 6-30-10: Eric scored his 500th career major league run. 5-14-10: Eric got his 800th career major league hit. 4-10-10: Eric played in his 1,000th career game and got his 3,100th at-bat and 200th double. 4-4-10: Eric was 19-49 (.388) with 13 runs, 2 doubles, 2 homeruns and 12 RBI in 25 spring training games. 1-12-10: Eric signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Braves. 11-4-09: The Yankees beat the Phillies four games to two to win the 2009 World Series! 11-2-09: Eric appeared as a pinch-hitter in Game 5 of the World Series and drew a walk against former Razorback Cliff Lee.
