6-30-10: Eric scored his 500th career major league run. 5-14-10: Eric got his 800th career major league hit. 4-10-10: Eric played in his 1,000th career game and got his 3,100th at-bat and 200th double. 4-4-10: Eric was 19-49 (.388) with 13 runs, 2 doubles, 2 homeruns and 12 RBI in 25 spring training games. 1-12-10: Eric signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Braves. 11-4-09: The Yankees beat the Phillies four games to two to win the 2009 World Series! 11-2-09: Eric appeared as a pinch-hitter in Game 5 of the World Series and drew a walk against former Razorback Cliff Lee. He joins Don Baylor (1986-88) as the only players to appear in three straight Series with three different teams. 10-28-09: The Yankees added Eric to their World Series roster after removing him from the ALCS roster. 9-27-09: The New York Yankees clinched the AL East Championship. He hit a pinch hit homerun in his first at-bat of the 2008 post season! 9-26-08: The Tampa Bay Rays clinched their first AL East title! 9-25-08: Eric played his 900th major league game. 7-29-08: Eric got his 100th major league homerun off Toronto's Roy Halladay. 6-27-08: Eric got his 700th major league hit. 5-7-08: Eric played his 800th major league game. 5-3-08: Eric scored his 400th career major league run. 3-31-08: Eric drew his 300th career major league walk. 3-30-08: Eric ended spring training with a .316 average (18-57), 11 runs, 4 doubles, 2 homeruns, 11 RBI and 2 stolen bases in 25 games. 3-29-08: Eric had his minor league contract purchased by Tampa Bay. 2-7-08: Eric signed a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays.
